Re: --**Casablanca Cheering Thread**--

Not a good draw - Clement - and then Massu in the quarters

The only good thing (from a purely personal point of view), is that I'm going to the Munich tournament next week, and I was a little worried that if Juan went deep into this draw he might pull out of Munich So if he loses early in Casablanca then I have much more chance of seeing him in Munich!!! Sorry to be selfish, but does that make sense?

Juan will also play doubles here with Lucho Horna. Here is a link to the draw. Their first opponents will be Thomas Behrend/Philip Petzchner from Germany http://www.atptennis.com/en/common/T...06/360/MDD.pdf

Rosie (hey dear ), I just love your “Clement – and then Massu in the quarters” . Is everything so bad for poor Arnaud? Though yes, one thing is already bad – that Mónaco plays Clément, so I see this is already the second round he examines my favorite Frenchies… Who’s next, Grosjean at RG?

Well, I don’t think there is a clear favorite in this encounter. Juan can concentrate on a single match and play his best, moreover it’s on his favorite clay and he has what to defend but Arnaud is Arnaud and he played a good match against Nadal in Monte-Carlo even despite a low motivation. So don’t know… Anyway I’ll be for Arnaud, sorry, - that’s why I’d also like Juan not to go too deep into the draw and better come to Munich in time . By the way, I’m a bit late but congratulation with the clay courts time in Europe, Rose (and others who enjoy it)! Have a great time wherever you’re going to! Ehhh… loud voice for cheering and strong hands for holding your camera! lol

"Those who are skilful and really the best ones don't have a bad luck [reasons of their falls are in themselves only]." - Ole Einar Bjørndalen, who is not just best of the best; he can do everything.

Thanks for your good wishes I believe your Arnaud beat Juan earlier this year (though on hard not on clay) - so I think his greater experience will win through. And, as I said, - being selfish - I will not mind so much this time - Juan will just have to win every other match he plays this Spring to make up for it!!!!

Anyway - here is tomorrow's OOP:-

Central Court : 2:00 PM
Men's Single First Round
DI MAURO, Alessio (ITA) vs (WC) EL AAREJ, Mounir (MAR)
Followed by Men's Single First Round
(5) CLEMENT, Arnaud (FRA) vs MONACO, Juan (ARG)
Followed by Men's Double First Round
(WC) OUAHABI, Talal(MAR) ZIADI , Mehdi(MAR) vs (WC) EL AAREJ , Mounir (MAR) TAHIRI, Mehdi (MAR)

Alright Rosie, I understand that. But if he looses ( wich is very likely to happen ) he really has to make it up for you, and for the rest of his fans during Spring. It's a must.

Good luck for tomorow Juan.

Re: --**Casablanca Cheering Thread**--

I don't see such a huge problem for him in Clément who has hardly any quality wins on clay. But we know it's not only dependent of Clément, Juan can also contribute some crazy things or just show a bad day and the match is can be lost this way.

BTW, Rosie, I also hope he is coming to Munich. Quite confident he does, though!

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

You're so right about the crazy things Mainly his concentration - not sure where his mind is sometimes but it's often not on the match!!!!! Are you going to Munich then Neely?

As for the scoreboard Claudia - I'm just home from work and very tired and need food - so frankly I don't think I'll even bother with it!! I have a lot to do and we'll find out what happened soon enough!!

I'm almost giving up on mine to be honest. I hate scoreboards anyway, they stress me too much.

But you're right, we'll find out the result soon.
