Re: Go Soeda

Soeda won the Pingguo challenger in China on Sunday March 20 and is certain to break into top 100 for the very first time when the new rankings are released next Monday.

This will be the first time in 37 years since two Japanese players were ranked inside top 100 at the same time!

Congrats, Go!

Re: Go Soeda

Soeda def. Smyczek 7-5 4-6 7-6(5) in R1 in Sarasota.
A very good win for him considering clay is his worst surface and Smyczek just won the USTA's RG WC playoff.

Re: Go Soeda

Soeda def. Dodig 7-6(6) 6-3 in Chennai yesterday!
It's his second career QF at the ATP level.
With this result he might have secured the ATF WC for AO.
Good luck vs Stan today!

Re: Go Soeda

Congrats to Soeda for his first victory at a Grand Slam.
He beat Kunitsyn 6-3 6-2 6-1!

His game suits grass and his FH was in a very good form today.
Good luck in R2!

Re: Go Soeda

Go Soeda seals Davis cup playoff victory by defeating Alejandro Falla in 4 sets, I'm really happy for Soeda and the Japanese team.
This has to be one of his biggest career win to date, to come back and win 3 straight sets after dropping the first in the 5th deciding rubber.

Just awesome!
