Nole WITHDREW from BASEL due to exhaustion!

Novak isn't sure he will play there, but we hope he will make right decision!

Re: Nole at BASEL Thread!

I don't think he should. I think he should just prepare for Paris. But he and his team know what's best.

Troicki - Djokovic - Del Potro - Kyrgios - Berankis
Cibulkova - Robson - Kirilenko - Azarenka
Retired but always loving Ferrero - Ancic - Kiefer

Re: Nole at BASEL Thread!

One good thing about this awful loss is that he can wash it out in Basel . Only 2 more tourneys and then he can rest. It's a very tough field so he will be focused

I think he should play. I don't know why you guys treat him as though he shouldn't play more than two or three matches in a row.

Is he that weak?

Because there have been plenty of times where he has said he needed rest after only playing a week or so. I mean he was still playing on Friday, he was in Madrid the whole week and Paris is another important event. It's not like skipping Basel to go play another IS tournament the following week.. it IS a Masters and how often has Nole played well when he is in his third straight week of tennis.

Troicki - Djokovic - Del Potro - Kyrgios - Berankis
Cibulkova - Robson - Kirilenko - Azarenka

He should play. I didn't think he could win the whole tournament in Vienna, so I didn't see much point in going. But this one he can certainly win.

Re: Nole at BASEL Thread!

Draw is on Sunday. And I think play may not begin until Tues?

Nole would be the #6 seed based on the withdrawls so far.

I understand Jess, but he'll never get more fit unless he forces himself to play.

Re: Nole WITHDREW from BASEL due to exhaustion!

I've just received offical info from Novak's father, Srdjan that Nole won't play Basel because he is very tired and exhausted!

All in all, Nole is going to play Paris! It will be his last event in 2006!
