Roger pulled out!

So Rafa is the #4 seed and cannot meet Novak before the SF.

I prefer Stan in the SF. The draw is tomorrow at 11 am local time, I think. In about 22 hours.

Good luck, Novak!

Happy with his draw, gives him a great opportunity.

Sure he's got Rafa in the SF, but it's not like Stan would be any easier.

He can do this. I actually forgot he's hunting for 4th slam in a row as all the focus is on winning his first French. Crazy!

I think Stan would be a lot easier: in fact, I don't think he'll get to the semis. We shall see.

But I like this draw. It's a very good draw all the way to the SF. That will be a real battle, but he can prevail.

There is no rain forecast for Friday June 3rd, so that means that Novak will have a full day off to recover. And he'll be ready for the final.

I am pumped! I think Novak can and will do this!

Ajde!

I dont think I'm gonna invest too much emotion this year. The last 4 years have been pretty devastating for my sanity
Good luck @Sportsperson000 with your thread!

Allez NOVAK!

The lower half starts today so yeah, he'll probably play the 2nd semi . Ugh, the thought of Murray winning RG makes my skin crawl.

Anyway it's a nice draw, he should be winning in straight sets until the SF (please no unnecessary fuckery Novak ) . There are no excuses this year I will really start ro believe he'll never win it if it doesn't happen this year too .

Novak's kit:

I'm so glad it's not another orange/blue. Those colors just dont work for him on RG. Hopefully red will bring more good luck

Re: Novak à Paris- le temps est venu *** Roland-Garros 2016 cheering thread***

So the circus of RG continues. Rain delay today and matches will be pushed to the next day and then to the next day and so on. Next thing we will know Novak has to play Semis and FInals on consecutive days. He should seriously sue the French Tennis if that happens. Really Ridiculous Grand Slam this.

Anyways, He has to take each match at a time and not think about the later stages until he reaches there. And all the Best guys.

Really? How do you know?! Maybe Mr Djokovic will not get there. Murray already is with Stan .

The order of the SF is not determined by which hald starts first. They decide that according to the matches themselves.

I remember when Tsonga made the semis, he played the latter SF, better ratings.

But I think Novak and Rafa could ask for the first SF. They would not deny the #1 player in the world, and a 9-time RG champion. I hope they do it.

But today I heard some British pundits on Radio Roland Garros openly hoping that Rafa would drag Novak to a 2-day SF, so that Murray could get a flat Novak, like Wawrinka did.

Can you believe it? Whay happened to fair play? Supposed to be a British value!
