I know for Adje Nole but How do you pronounce it?

Moreover for "Thank You" which is Hvala (do you pronounce the H?)

Last question, does the croatian look like serbian language?
Hmmm, maybe I can be a little help for you as my mother is from Belgrade. I should have come more often here, I haven't been here for quite a while, shame on me

Ok, now to the questions: It's a bit stupid that I can't write it in the phonetic writing, but I will try to explain it.
The promounciation of Ajde is: An open A like in "father", but short, then an i like in "big", and then a de with an open e at the end like in "bed". Hope it's not too complicated the way I explained it.

Yes, the H of hvala is pronounced. The first a of it is the same one like in "father", this time really long, and the second a is again short.

And I hope I could help you a little bit.

Thanks for dropping by and your help!

It's OK for Ajde But I must admit that the pronounced H is difficult as we don't pronounce it in French, But Im trying... lol

I know that the H isn't pronounced in French , but Italians, Spaniards and Portugueses have the same problem.

Before Croatia become independent it was called Serbo-Croatian language and it is almost the same language. There are some different words maybe one percent (like English English and American English) but if you will learn Serbian language and know it excellent then went for Zagreb everybody will understand what are you saying.

Re: The "We are all attempting to learn Serbian" practice thread

it is DOBAR DAN (two seperated words) because DOBAR is the masculine version of "good" and DAN is "day"

for those who want to know: the feminine version of "good" is DOBRA, and the neutral version is DOBRO.

Re: The "We are all attempting to learn Serbian" practice thread

I just asked my mum, because I started to get unsure. Ok, if a girl wants to say, she's fine, she says though: "Ja sam dobrO." If she says: "Ja sam dobrA" she means: "I'm a good girl"
