Rafa in SF! He's in Ferrer's Quarter again.

But all 3 SFists in Madrid are in Nole's half Stan in R16, Berdych in QF and Rafa in SF.

At least that should tell him he has to be 100% serious right from the start Besides, Wawrinka played a lot of tennis this spring, not sure how much fresh is he going to be there. Best of luck Nole

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Italians don't know how to rig daws? Put their top 2 players in first round and the winner vs Nadal

And Viktor vs Janko in the first round too

Re: Time for a roaring Roman rampage! Idemo Nole!

Novak has a pretty loaded section. And that can be said for anyone in his half. Wawa, Tomas, Rafa followed by anyone in other half. However, the last time I thought of playing Wawa, Novak lost his first match. So one match at a time ( Or one game???) AJDE!!!!!

PS: I am scared for posting but decided to give it a go. He can't possible do worst than Madrid? Can he?

Oops

A very unbalanced draw, though i've yet to look at the other big guns drawsAt least the crowd will be gentle towards him,or here is hoping

Hopefully he'll be fired up to have another good clay tournament before the big one.

Re: Time for a roaring Roman rampage! Idemo Nole!

He can do it

Early losses always seem to bring out the best in him for the following tournament. Plus, it didn't seem like he cared all that much about Madrid, ehe didn't even train for x days. And now he has been in Rome for like a week, he better bring it.

Either way, we have MC, and all I wnat is for his ankle to be ok going into RG, which I think it is (?)... We don't want him to be the favorite going into RG, do we?

BTW, someone explain me what are the odds of Rafa reaching #4 in the rankings before RG. If there is even any chance

No chance.

It's impossible for Rafa to improve his ranking since he won Rome last year. Ferrer is over 900 pts in front and he only got to the semis last year. Even if Ferrer were to lose in his first match, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't drop 900 pts. I'm no rankings whiz, but that's how I see it.

Re: Time for a roaring Roman rampage! Idemo Nole!

of course he wouldn't drop 900.

Well, I am pretty sure Nole and Rafa will land on opposite sides of the draw, so no biggie
