Star how did you deal with your pronation? I have it, as well as flat feet, very painful and I'd rather deal with it now than have issues in later life.
You have to get custom made orthodic inserts for your shoes. I don't know exactly what your problem is, but go to a foot specialist and get advice.
I didn't have any pain with it, except that I could turn my ankle flat and stand on it which I thought was normal, but after several ankle sprains found out wasn't.
P.S. I forgot to say that the correction is quite painful at first. It changes the way you use your legs all the way up to your hips. My hips were actually turned out. So, getting everything aligned correctly makes you feel that you have been doing the most strenuous exercises. It goes away, but at first it's quite noticeable. I nearly forgot about this part of it.
Even though I don't wear my inserts all the time now, I don't have that problem when I resume wearing them. At first, I wore them faithfully for a long time.
