Really, I remarked to some one during the match that some of these points seemed to be played on another planet. Both were striking the ball so powerfully, and it did not seem possible for either to get to the next ball. Both were hitting more than one winner during each point yet the ball kept going. And then finally DPo would scream one down the line or Rafa would flail one long or into the net. Or sometimes it was the other way around,
I felt so much for each player because each of them had gone through a lot with not knowing if they would be able to play at full force again. Probably each of them understood the other the way many other players could not,
Also DPo is the worst challenger ev-er.
today and yesterday, I think he got one right. Well I mean yesterday and the day before, finally the poor guy quit trying even though he still felt some of the calls were wrong. He got upset about something after one of his challenges. The last one I think, I couldn't understand it though, I thought the match was played in good spirits, I liked that Rafa and Juan Martin spoke to one another in Spanish at the trophy presentation, it seemed so much more genuine,
