Yes really. It's also overcast so there is no warmth from the sun. Also will go down to 14 around 7 and there might be rain. Freakin miserable

Ah, does sound pretty bad, although I'm a wimp for heat. If it was any higher than 25 degrees C, I'd be sweating my nipples off.

Sweating on the desert is different. It evaporates right away. Plus UAians are used to being warm. Those of us who love in the desert don't like to be cold.

star, it will cool down over the weekend. Keep warm!

Joe, the dry air in desert make the heat bearable but when night time fell, the temp. dropped fast and low. I made the huge mistake first year and almost frozen

Lee, I just did the court two shuffle for seats. I saw the usher hold up one finger but then had to get the attention of the guy holding the chain at my end. By the time I got near my seat I just had to drop into any vacant seat the guy sitting there said this seat is taken. I wanted to point out that it was currently vacant but refrained. I just told him I would move to my seat when there was a break in play.

Thanks for the info Lee and star. I guess I would be okay there then, it seems UK weather is worse than hot weather abroad!

And yes Lee, tax is a lot atm now, I believe 20% VAT, but not sure. But at least the tax was advertised in the proper price. In USA I always got annoyed because they never added tax till checkout.

Yeah, but everyone knows the tax percentage in their area. It's not like its different each time.

Then why not just add it on to advertisements etc? For tourists it's pretty confusing, espescially if you suck at Maths.

Not that simple In Pheonix metro, each city has it's own tax. Add the tax for the county and the state. And different county May have different rate. For the same cup of starbuck coffee, you may pay different price in the other starbuck just across the street

I live in Scottsdale which tax grocery at 1.65% and consumer goods at 8.95% (including tax at all levels) while in Phoenix, grocery is 2% and overall for consumer goods 9.3%. But the Chinese supermarket In Mesa has no grocery tax but the others in Peoria and Chandler have.

It's just very complicated
