I think Nalbandian is another good example of what I feel about Roger.

Absolutely love his game, amazing to watch. As a person and human being, piss poor, worse than Fed.

blasphemy

OK, take it as a joke. I have no problem whatsoever with fans of Roger. From 2001-2003, he made my top 10 list too. But the growing smugginess in proportion with his slam trophies really turned me off. One of the reason I like Nole is because he will never have that smugginess even he wins 20 slams.

Young boy quit the Fed praising in here we are kind of allergic, even dom!

Everyone Has flaws and we just found yours. We can get past it just don't mention him!

Not so sure about the forgivingness if George continues to sing his praise here But I digress

You guys are overestimating what I feel about Roger, though. If I was as much of a fan of him as you make me out to be, would I have an avatar with Goffin and Bemelmans in it? Would I have a blank signature with no mention of the man himself? I don't think so.

Just from an objective standpoint, Federer at least works hard and is disciplined. But, then Federer cares a lot about his "brand." Nalbandian could not care less about it.

I was at IW for that epic night match he played with Nadal. Insanity.

I'll say it again, though. I love to watch Federer's game. However I quite often find myself supporting his opponent because I like a lot of the lower-ranked guys who are a bit more honest and bit more real.

I also can't stand the Federer fan base on here. At least half of them are awful. Complacent like their hero.
fixed!

You can't dislike Roger as a player, he's a genius in that department. I don't really like his lack humility when he looses, hated what he said after USO 2011 SF, but he was just buthurt

Funny how we like Nole so much but besides that, we also have Roger in common.

Forget What I said. It wasn't Melzer I always confused him with Marach because I saw them.play one the same day and they are both Austrian.. It was Marach who talked to me.

George we are just joking. We sincerely dislike Roger, but any Fedfan is welcome here as long he or She is nice enough to make up for Roger's lack. you are

I don't know not singing Fed's praise or dislike his personality are equivalent to hate. Especially not in his forum or GM but in Novak Djokovic's forum.

Sorry for the overreaction but I dislike the word "haters" very much

Re: Look, you know, our draws are not rigged they are just unlikely. (pt2)

Yep, I really don't like that about Federer. Those awful RF caps for a start. He's very self-promotional. Definitely the most self-promotional player on tour.

Nalbandian is lazy, and quite a nasty guy from what I gather. He has a beautiful game.

Let me try and put this another way.

If I was on a train, with limited internet access, so I could only follow the scoreboard. The first players I would look for would be my favourites. So Goffin, Stebe, Bedene, Žemlja, Seppi, Fognini, Simon, Granollers, Berankis etc. The list could go on for quite a while. The likes of Federer and Nalbandian who I like to watch play, wouldn't be near the top.

However if I was at home, and could watch the tennis live online or on the tv, the first names I would look for would be Federer, Nalbandian, Melzer, Wawrinka, Stepanek, Haas etc. That's because they all are great to watch for one reason or another. I'm not really a fan of any of these guys, though. I think I can like to watch them without being a fan? Maybe not.
