I had an uncle who was in the marines in the pacific during WWII. He went through battles invading the islands and, mercifully, was not wounded. However, when the war was nearly ended, and they were just in camp waiting for the end, some guy just as a prank jumped on his leg and broke it! That was his war wound. Except for malaria which plagued him from time to time the rest of his life.

It's weird the things that people will do just on impulse.

However, I hope some timely and well considered punishment will teach your classmate to control his impulses.

If it's any consolation, I have to start studying hard soon. By the middle of December certainly.

I am well! I just went shopping I didn't get the bag I wanted but I did very well shopping elsewhere

I had an excellent thing happen to me the other day. You see, last Thursday after work I went to Starbucks and reloaded my gift card that I use to pay with and put $50 on it. The cashier messed up and rang it up that I paid with cash, but I used the credit card. She told her manager, and he told her, "Just ring it again, and I will cancel the first transaction later". So she loaded my card AGAIN with another $50 The manager said it would show for a couple hours but then disappear.

Well you see, this extra $50 has not disappeared A week later and it is still there The guy never cancelled the first transaction. So Starbucks has provided me with an extra $50 on my gift card at no cost to myself Merry Christmas to me

You're lucky I didn't win the lottery... otherwise I would be flying to NJ just to give you the chance of paying me a coffee.

And we would probably go shopping afterwards, I guess. Shopping for clothes. To wear in Melbourne. During the AO. That we would attend.

Oh dreams.

Coffee for everyone in the thread

Yes I would need clothes for Melbourne that would be stylish and appropriate for such heat Because we'd sit courtside so we'd have to look good for the TV cameras
