The round-robin format is inherently awful in sports where it's only possible to win or lose. The variable of the tie makes it a much viable.

So I think the WTF needs a shake-up.

What shake up, though? Do you have any idea?

The Big guy has quite a sense of humour

I'm being serious when I say that it would be best for tennis if this season-ending championship was scrapped for good. Obviously I wouldn't simply get rid of it and not replace it with an alternative.

I just don't like the idea of an 8-man tournament. Even if it's the 'best of the best'. It never works. I can remember one really good match that's happened at the O2 since the tournament's moved to London in 2009.

I like the idea in theory. But it never really works and it's always a big joke, so I probably wouldn't be too disappointed if they removed if from the calendar.

It's a cash cow. They won't get rid of it, or change it.

On a purely tennis level, though, it's an awful idea.

I think it's sad they decided to keep it in London for X more years.

I agree with you, and this is coming from a Londoner. Even though I live in and near to London, I've never been. I don't plan to go for however much longer it stays in London.

The BBC will want Murray on in the afternoon.

Speaking of the BBC, they are in a lot of hot water right now!
