Yeah, of course it's awkward to tell these things normally. But not awkward like this is. I'm cracking up with laughter here, because I don't understand what you mean.

I still haven't told my parents, but I have told you. I feel like an irresponsible child.

Thanks!

I did not go onlne coming home and just watched Nole's match on tape. And I was correct in suspecting he would be dreadful. Only Tsonga was worse in taking advantage of a below-par Nole

And for singles, Tennis Channel had her own commentator in Ted Robinson and Jimmy Arias (former player). They are so terrible that after rambling for almost three games on who told Tsonga to push vs Nole that someone enlightened them that Tsonga has a new coach in Rasheed.

You are perfectly normal in not telling your parents you have a girl friend. Usually children won't tell until the relationship is stable.

I am being told that Alex won 6-1 6-4. Through to the main draw in Merida.

In the Facebook era. It's quite easy to know, even for parents, what is going on in a person's personal life.

I'm sure they can tell something is up, too.

Terrible. He stands no chance of winning the whole thing

That's true! My nephew was in hot water because his finacee announced their engagement on FB where, his cousin/my niece saw it and told their grandma/my mom before my nephew had the chance

Oh come off it, dear. You're not silly.

That is pushing the boundaries, though. Nearly a year after the relationship originally started, you get round to telling them? Fair enough.

I think my mother knows, or at least strongly suspects, however. She keeps asking me quite often, "George, do you have a girlfriend?" I now feel bad lying to her, but oh well.

It's one of the reasons I don't like facebook. I don't mean to sound like a downer, but I don't care if x is dating y, or something similar. Of course it's great and I'm happy, but there's no need to advertise it all over other people's timelines.

She did not announced it by making a post on her own FB or others' timeline. She changed her status to engage. They had been dating for many years so she's already like part of the family and is friends with the cousins. It was fate that she updated her status not long after my nieces saw it and my mom was staying in their places that day. Otherwise, my sister would have the chance to tell my nieces not telling grandma until after their cousin. My nephew wanted to tell his grandma face to face when he flew home on the weekend. He lives and works thousands miles away.
