Well, it's bit dicey even though Gulbis was up two sets already and he is a huge choker. Lucky for me he came thru

Oh no doubt Novak is wonderful to look at he looked amazing and happy and excited, I was just squealing with happiness everytime he was on my screen. Especially when he kept serving aces, along with a couple of second serve aces. Like, wow. Puddle of goo.

Fan of: Djokovic, Berdych, Fish
Also love: Nadal, Murray, Ferrer, Hewitt, Isner, Soderling, Raonic, Del Potro, Harrison, Paire
Retired: Courier, Ivanisevic, Gaudio

Re: Grass is made for eating! Wimbledon cheering thread: R2 vs Harrison

so yeh, had a brilliant time. Going back today (and maybe tomorrow).

Lee, didn't only cheer for X for you (and for me), he signed my hat - when I presented it to him he was laughing like "woah, wtf?" and I said "yeh, literally anywhere, cheers"

Saw decent amounts of Alamgro-Rochus, Seppi-Istomin, Rufin-Darcis, Jamie Murray and saw nearly all of Mahut-Lorenzi. And saw Berdych + Gulbis leave the court.

Oh, and had a casual chat with Goffin whilst watching Almagro

Sounds wonderful!!!! Lots of tennis in such a short time. Yay for X-man but next round will be tough. I take it Goffin was cheering for Rochus there?

I'm assuming so, he only stopped for a sec to watch - was just sampling the courts like I was

X can do it!

I don't mind X winning next round I think he is a better grass court player than Simon. I will be happy for either

From Tignor:

Quote:
Most Exemplary Losing Handshake
The best one I’ve seen at this tournament came from Juan Carlos Ferrero, after his whipping at the hands of Novak Djokovic. As he walked to the net, Ferrero pressed his mouth together and shook his head slightly, as if to say, “Yep, too good” to Novak.

Thanks - had another great day

Missed Nole's practice by a couple of hours but,

saw Wawrinka v Melzer, Cilic v Stebe, Raonic v Giraldo, Dodig v Rosol, Karlovic v Sela (literally had to dodge one of Ivo's aces - was standing by the corner of the court!), Ferrer v Brown, our British "hope" James Ward v Andujar.

But the clear highlight was Haas v Kohlschreiber - was a great match, shame Tommy went away in the fifth leng jai - he brushed past my shoulder Kohli signed my hat too as did Mohamed Lahyani - I can confirm that he is the nicest person ever.

Weirdest was on the way back, bumping into Ryan Harrison outside a petrol station I took some photos for some girls who spotted him same time. He seemed like a really nice guy, as did his g/f (but girl, obvs )

You need a T-shirt with " I survived Dr. Ivo's bomb"

Good that it was you that Haas brushed past, leng would probably melted onto the pacement

Lahyani is very nice but he needs to up his games lately.

He is a hot head but he carries himself very well outside the court. He will definitely be US #1 player if he has the talent of Tomic or Gulbis

with the rate the girls are playing, I am not sure when Nole will make his appearance

Thanks for the report
