Del Potro has withdrawn from Basel due to his wrist injury. Cilic (WC) will be seeded 4th now.

Re: Business in Basel: Taking the king's crown!

Great thread title name! Basel is a very business-oriented city indeed And we'd all love to see that "taking the king's crown" attitude in Nole again.....like some people here, I've started to like aggressive-and-slightly-cocky Nole more than nice-guy Nole when on court. Go and try entering the final and beating the king (how many times defending champ?? )

And Rose, have a nice time there Send him our wishes and kisses. Maybe you can hold a banner writing "To Nole with Love from MTF"?

Delpo He's not been himself since the US Open win. I have hoped him to pass Murray in the rankings

"If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same"

Believe in yourself, Novak.
That's all I ask of you.

2008, 2011 - 2013, 2015 Australian Open.

JM is just saving himself to impress me at WTF

And yes, cocky Nole is so much better

Nice idea - but I've been to Basel before, and it's quite a "formal" tournament - smartly dressed, loads of the business people we're spoken of offering hospitality and wheeling/dealing in the Bars So if I had a banner like that I'd most probably be arrested. I'll cheer for you though.

And I agree about Delpo - get well soon JM - I want to see him at WTF too.

Re: Business in Basel: Taking the king's crown!

Delpo will be disappointed that he's not really been able to play after his USO win, but at the end of the day, he won the USO for crying out loud. He'll be fine I'm sure.

Anyway, as for Nole, here's hoping. I can't wait for the draw to come out. I would like Nole to do well but not to peak too early before the YEC.
