Re: Win It All in Cincy! 2009 Cincinnati Cheering Thread!

The only one that can challenge Murray in QF is Verdasco.
Should we hope for a reapeat of the AO 2009 QF?
I most certainly will. I want to see Nando in the the SF.
I guess those difficult opponents in the openers should make Nole play at his best level and improve his mental state in case of a win so I'm quite optimistic.

Re: Win It All in Cincy! 2009 Cincinnati Cheering Thread!

I'm sorry to hear Rafa and Nole will not be playing doubles together in Cincy. Although Rosie and Linda must be relieved.

I liked parts of the way Djokovic played against Andy. I'm hoping for more improvement. It's just that he has to get a little better all the time.

Sometimes I look at Djokovic and wonder if he's decided he's rather be a mid level player and enjoy his life or if he wants to be one of the elite players. I dunno. it's up to him. Personally, I'd like him to be an elite player because I'd get to see him more.

Murray to complete a back to back me thinks but crossing everything it ain't so!
Juan Martin pulled out???? Oh dear I only just know...he really didn't seem well in the last few matches...(but still he beats Rafa, Roddick and won a TB from Murray)

Yes, he did. Benneteau () replaced him as lucky loser. It was probably the only smart thing to do for him, I'm glad he did.

It's quite shocking how he lost his confidence so quicklymaybe he wasn't ready to win a GS after allif he like you said decided to be a mid level player,he wouldn't have made any changes to his team

I don't believe for one second that Nole is happy to be a mid-level player. It's clear from his press conferences that he doesn't think his performances are acceptable, and he certainly looked pissed off to me walking off court after the Roddick match.I think he is just going through a crisis of confidence but i certainly don't doubt his motivation in the long-run.I'm sure there's nobody more frustrated by his performances at the moment than himself
