He was good today, but i didn't like the way he sort of gave up in the last set! Hope he doesn't do it anymore!

I like Queens People talk about how snobby the tournament is, but I really didn't mind. There are far less stupid fans there than there are at most other tournaments. People, if they don't know anything about a player, keep their mouth shut rather than spout nonsense. So I like that

Troicki - Djokovic - Del Potro - Kyrgios - Berankis
Cibulkova - Robson - Kirilenko - Azarenka
Retired but always loving Ferrero - Ancic - Kiefer

Re: Queen's Club 2007---Just a Chunnel journey away

The draw is up. Nole is the 4th seed.

First round: Bye
Second round: the winner of Ernest Gulbis - Robert Kendrick

Projections:

QF: Safin (though Ivo Karlovic is in Safin's/Nole's part of the draw, and with 208 cm/6'10" he's practically an ace machine and therefore quite a contender on grass - QC finalist 2005. Could be hairy.)

SF: Nadal (who should meet Ljubicic in QF)

F: Roddick (who should have a handful with last year's champion Hewitt in QF)

Draw doesn't scare me. Nole can win here.

It isn't frightful, but it has a tough point or two, undisputably (Karlovic and Nole never played each other before). And we'll also see how fast will Nole switch from clay to grass.

I think they might have played in qualifying somewhere. I want to say Madrid Masters 2005??? You can't find qualifying on the ATP website, but you can find it on the ITF website.

Loooking...

Yeah, Madrid Masters 2005 first round of qualfying Karlovic won 6-4, 6-4.

ITF site is a good resource.

It's an interesting draw. Not too difficult. A little challenging, maybe.

The people I was concerned about were the old guys who had results on grass in the past: Grosjean, Tojo, Henman, Bjorkman.

Re: Queen's Club 2007---Just a Chunnel journey away

Regarding this post of mine: It seems that Roddick's Wimbledon Finals 2005 will earn him an unbeatable extra of 3/4 * 700 = 525 points (plus 75 points from Wimbledon 2006 and remains-to-be-seen-how-many points from QC 2007). Hence Nole should strive to beat Davydenko and Gonzalez for the 4th seed position, which shouldn't be so difficult.
