La vita è bella in Roma!

The draw is out: Nole ends up once again in Rafa's quarter.

Re: La vita è bella in Roma!

toughest draw possible but I feel Nole can take it, Soderling is tough on clay . I don't want to look up to possible Nadal QF but if he will defeat him on clay anywhere it could be here

Re: La vita è bella in Roma!

It's a decent draw until the quarterfinals. I think it's really shitty that Nole is always in either Federer or Rafa's sections... but that will be over as soon as he becomes top 4. So extra incentive for him.

Re: La vita è bella in Roma!

The really bad thing about this is that I know that Nole can beat Rafa, but I'm not sure if he thinks he can beat Federer yet. I would hate for Nole to beat Rafa and then lose to Federer in the finals. I don't want Federer winning any titles until after the clay season.

But ajde Nole! I'll cheer for him as long as he's in the draw.

no kidding! Why is he always, ALWAYS in Rafa or Fed's draw? I don't remember him ever being in Davydenko's, Roddick's, or Ljubicic's quarter. I feel like Nole should definitely defeat those 3, not too sure about Fed or Rafa.

Novak Djokovic

Also supporting:
Paul-Henri Mathieu Richard Gasquet Marat Safin

Re: La vita è bella in Roma!

I think clay is his best chance to get that first win over Federer. Rafa is tough on clay, but I don't think he's unbeatable. Nole can blow him away just like he did in Miami.

Thumbs down Re: La vita è bella in Roma!

such a long list of top 20 players he hasn't played: Roddick, Blake, Davydenko,Nalbandian, Baghdatis, Berdych and only once Ljubicic, Haas . I mean it's a disadvantage as he can beat them and they could be better prep than a some non seed to be followed by Fed/Nadal as is the case often

Exactly!

Why couldn't he have been in Roddick's quarter which is like chock full of Americans?!

I'm not worried about Soderling at all, only Rafa. It would make me a very happy girl though if Novak is the one who breaks the streak

Troicki - Djokovic - Del Potro - Kyrgios - Berankis
Cibulkova - Robson - Kirilenko - Azarenka
Retired but always loving Ferrero - Ancic - Kiefer
