Re: What about Juan MOnaco??

And he's gonna come to Ecuador for the Challenger of Salinas since March 29th to April 4th.

He's one of the atractions of the tournament.

Aren't all love stories destined to fail?

Re: What about Juan MOnaco??

He has passed the qualy in Miami and his first match in main draw is on Thrusday. If he wins two more matches, I think he won´t be able to play in Salinas.

WOw, so far he's going pretty well against Johanssen. he won the first set and is 2-2 in the second. I hope he wins!
Sounds like we might be having a new tennis prodigy here along with Nadal.

Re: What about Juan MOnaco??

I saw his match last night against GUga. This kid Monaco fights so hard on every point a little like Canas and Massu (from last year not this year).

He looks pretty fit but he puts so much effort into every shot I don't know how much he has left for the rest of Miami.

I think he has a good solid future.

Re: What about Juan MOnaco??

He's going to play in Viña, I believe he's got some chances here to win. He's playing Puerta in 1st round (a pity, I like Puerta too)
Go Monaco!

Re: What about Juan MOnaco??

Hey! I kinda like him, too. I even put him in my avartar

Got interested in Monaco after he beat Guga ( my fave ) and put up a good fight against Paradorn in Miami. It'd be awesome if he wins the whole things, but Gaudio and Gonzalez are still the top contenders for the title anyway....

Monaco !!!

I saw ur av, but I wasn't sure it was him.
U are absolutely right about and Gonzalez being the faves to win but I feel Monaco is gonna make the "jump" anytime now and I like the way he plays.

Re: What about Juan MOnaco??

I like Monaco a lot too and I'm sure he can do great things!
It's too bad he hasn't had luck in the GS draws so far...Coria, Gaudio and now Fish in the first round. They good thing is that he's fighting really hard and he's not too far to win those matches

Re: What about Juan MOnaco??

Oh man! Pity he couldn´t make it, he finally lost to Puerta 3-6/7-6/5-7. Well, it's oK, he's young and will have more opportunities on the way.
Mariano's been trying to make it to the top again for some years now. Perhaps he deserves the shot.
Go Monaco in ATP BA!!
