2007 looks good

I know we are some months away from this, that Argentina is going to play the final and that I shouldn't be talking about this. But I'll do it anyway. And I posted it in this forum, because although it is about DC, it is also related to Argentina and its players.

Although the Draw of the 2007 Davis Cup is not available yet, Argentina's chances already look good. (Or at least better than in previous years)

Most of the DC powerhouses would have to go to the clay of Buenos Aires to play:

USA
Spain
Croatia
Russia
(if they beat USA)
Slovak Republic
Chile

While only these three of the powerful countries would play on home soil. (and the three although difficult, are beatable.)

Australia (on grass)
Germany (on hard or carpet probably)
France (carpet or grass)

Against Switzerland it would have to be decided by dropping a coin... and it would be great to have Roger Federer in Buenos Aires.

And there is another reason that makes next year look good, Willy Cańas will surely be back in the team, specially if the tie is played on fast surfaces.

What do you think?
