Re: Edgardo Yayo Massa Thread

Yayo lost to Misha Youzhny 6-4 6-1, he just could not hold serve at all in this match he was broken 6 times and that is not good enough.

He had a good week and hope he can continue with the good progress.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Edgardo Yayo Massa Thread

Hope it is not too serious and that he can play soon, but he just needs to healthy now.

OK this pic sucks big time, but it was sooooooo horrifyingly hot I just wanted to DIE.

Yayo played amazing tennis in the first, but once his shoulder gave out (ummm it looked like rotator cuff issues to me) it was over....and my guess is that it was kinda serious, cause he wasn't in the bar that night either (and he was the night before)

Re: Edgardo Yayo Massa Thread

Thanks for the pic and the update michelle and I just hope he can find his fitness at some point soon.

Re: Edgardo Yayo Massa Thread

Good that he is playing some tennis at the Bundesliga and hope he can back on the circuit and be able to improve on his solid performances from the summer clay events.

Maybe he can play the qualies at Bucharest and Palermo.

Yayo is playing in Bucharest, he was fortunate that there were many withdrawals, but hopefully he can win a couple of matches would be great for him.

Yayo drew Romanian WC Crivoi in the 1st round, hope he can do well in this event, there are many bizarre results in Bucharest.

Yayo lost a very tough match to Crivoi 7-5 4-6 6-4. This was a very frustrating match and at the start both of these guys couldn't hold serve at all and Yayo was dominating the rallies for much of the time in the 1st set, but lack of matches told as he kept taking the wrong options at the wrong time, this plus Crivoi lifted his game.

The worst thing about this was that he was down a break in the 3rd and got it back to 4-4 all in the 3rd and then loses his next serve, a big opportunity missed.

Yayo is playing in the Szczecin Challenger an event that he has won before and he is in the qualies and hope he can make the main draw.

(2)Edgardo Massa (ARG) vs (WC)Rafal Teurer (POL)

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Edgardo Yayo Massa Thread

He already won 6-0 6-2

Next opponent to be - Benji Ebrahimzadeh (GER) or Photos Kalias (CYP)

both on poor future level
