Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

I think that was Lucho's worst defeat ever, considering the ranking of the other player. I'd rather not mention it.
Come on Lucho! it's time to get back to your real tennis level. Peru needs you...
We have to visit the Lapentti brothers in 8 weeks for Davis Cup...

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Lucho/Cuevas lost 10-5 in the Champs TB to Vliegen/Tecau.

He could either play Norman, Hajek, Jaziri or Cervantes/Mendendez in the singles.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Luchoador got up 7-6(6) 3-6 7-5 over Jaziri, it doesn't matter how the score looks, as long as he won.

He plays Ivo Minar now, time to step it up.

Lucho got thumped 6-1 6-2 against Minar.

He looks very short of match conditioning and he is the guy that needs a lot of matches to get into form.

He made a lot of errors and Minar to be fair served well. Lucho was standing too far back a lot of the time and not able to get enough depth and Minar stepped into the court, moving the ball around.

He just has to keep fighting hard and get some matches in, but if he can't win, then the confidence goes down, just hang in there is all he can do.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Lucho and Pablo won their doubles in straight sets.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Lucho got through against Pashanski 6-2 7-6 (0). He had a break in the 2nd set, but got broken straight away, after that he served very well.

Now he will play either Hrbaty or Fabbiano.

Lucho won 6-2 4-6 6-0. The 2nd set was very strange for sure. Lucho lead 2-0, lost 4 games in a row, then got it back to 4-4, had a game point for 5-4, then saves 6 set points and loses 6-4.

Got it together and finished strong and plays Marrero in the quarters.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
