Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Lucho lost 7-6(5) 6-4 7-5. It was a difficult match and a lost opportunity of Horna. Two ridiculous errors in the tiebreak, served for the 3rd set and fucked it up.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Lucho was very down after losing his singles, but he bounced back in the doubles.

Horna/Cuevas thumped Nieminen/Lindstedt 6-4 6-1.

They will miss the Prostejov CH.

Lucho and Cuevas won again in straight sets over Paes/Dlouhy the number 9 seeds 6-4 6-4.

Lucho and Pablo beat Dlouhy/Paes 6-4, 6-4
There is a Peruvian in a Grand Slam QF 14 years after Yzaga beat Sampras at the 1994 US Open.
This win doesn't surprise me at all.
I've always said that Lucho has the level of a Top 15 doubles player. Despite the fact that he's never taken doubles seriously he has 5 titles and now a Grand Slam QF.
Step by step Lucho, You have the power!

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

I'd rather Lucho be doing better at singles than doubles.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I totally agree with you, but doubles at RG is the only thing that Lucho's got this week, isn't it?
