Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

The official Grand Slam rules for 2008 are on this link:

http://www.itftennis.com/abouttheitf.../rulebooks.asp

According to them, Lucky Losers are randomly drawn.
Since Lucho was the 5th player to be drawn on today's LL draw 3 more players would have to withdraw to enable Lucho to get in the main draw.
I don't like his odds...

Any comments? Am I right?

How do you know that Lucho was the 5th player? Ok, I found out how.

Like I said before all 16 losers were put into the LL ballot, whereas before it had only been the top 4. As Andjuar and Decoud were the first two that were drawn, hence they got the 2 spots. Well there are still doubts over a few players.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

As expected Fognini withdrew, he should have done this earlier, he knew he was no chance of making it.

There needs to be one more withdrawal and then Horna will make it.

Fognini, Kiefer and Tsonga have withdrawn.

Horrible luck for Tsonga with a knee problem forcing him to miss RG, he will be replaced by Horna now.

Lucho is drawn to play Jenkins, as he replaced Tsonga in the draw.

If he wins, then he will play Monfils or Clement.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

No, he is playing Gstaad this year. His ranking wasn't good enough to get into Båstad directly.

Lucho won in 4 sets, the last set 6-0 and will now play either Monfils or Clement.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
