Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Well done Lucho . Fognini has been playing very well during his SA claycourt swing, and is a tough opponent, so I'm pleased that Lucho was able to get the job done in straights.
Good luck to him against Pico in the next round.

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Time for Los Mastellis to do battle again. Never in doubt for Lucho.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Thanks for the pics .
I know that Pico is still on the comeback trail from the ankle sprain that he picked up at Vina del Mar, but still I'm very happy indeed with Lucho's result yesterday. He is through to his first ATP QF since Bastad last July.
It's absolutely hilarious that we'll get part IV of the Lucho-Gordo saga this year, and before we enter March as well.
Hopefully Lucho can level up their 2008 h2h at 2-2 here.

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Yes, good thing is that this match is on centre court and I will be able to watch it and Lucho should feel very comfortable at this venue.

Lucho and Gordo won their doubles 6-2 6-2

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Congrats to Lucho!!!

He played a fantastic match. It was nice to see him so happy when he won. He was almost in tears during the post match interview.

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Luuuuuuuuuuuuuucho won in a very hard fought and tough match against his mate Calleri 6-4 3-6 6-3.

He played very well apart from a 5 minute lapse in the 2nd set, very aggressive and using the serve well. Picked good times to use the dropshot.

Good luck against Nalle.
