Vamos Lucho he plays either Moya or Cañas.

“ On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Cause of rain Lucho and Caņas will play their match first up then the winner will play Massu in the final. There is a match between Nalbandian and Moya in between the 2 matches.

Lucho had renal colic pains last night. He went to a clinic and even spent some hours there. It looks like he is in pain.., not much, otherwise he wouldn´t be able play, but he doesn´t look good. He even sits slowly....
He´ll lose this match (the scoreline is Cañas 64 42 right now), but props to him for showing up, and playing the match as well he is able to

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

He was interviewed and talked about stomach problems... Whatever it is, I hope he gets well soon.
Anyway..., he said his goals for next year is enjoying tennis. That he wants to keep healthy and injury free because injuries didnīt let him enjoy it the last time. He said that with his coach they wanted him to lose some weight and they did it. Other goal for 2007 is doing well in DC. He said he had no ranking goals, but he thought that if he could do all that, his ranking would raise.
Then he talked about his wife and daughter (right?.., I didnīt know he was married) and how hard it was to be away from home, specially for him, because he likes to be at home.

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

To Lucho for playing while sick. Certainly not all players would still have played. Good Luck to him in 2007.

Thanks for the translation Lauita.

Lucho has had a lot of injury problems this year after winning in Acapulco and was never really able to build anything and good to see he is still with Mastelli and hope Mastelli can get him to return serve better than he has and he is right about the ranking looking after itself, if he remains injry free.

Yes, Lucho is married and he has 2 kids.

Yes, to bad for him, I really hope he has a better 2007. To be honest, I didn´t listen all the interview properly, so I have no idea if he talked of Mastelli or said if he is still with him or not. I suppose he still is, otherwise, he would have been asked more about it......, I guess...

I didn´t know that. I don´t know why I always thought he was single.
He said he missed a lot his family, and sometimes he had to make the sacrifice of making them travel to be with them. He also said that it was important to have a "compañera" that is able understand that that´s the life a tennis player.

Unless Lucho has another Argentine coach, then it seems to be still Mastelli and I like the old man who used to coach Mancini in his playing days. They have 3rd round points to defend at the Aus Open as well, so he needs a good result there as well.

Lucho spends a lot of time in Argentina, well he can get better practice partners he is also good friends with Chucho as well. It's not easy and especially for Lucho as he is 26 and has 2 kids and most of the family guys tend to be a bit older.

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

I knew that Lucho spends a lot of time in Argentina.
Now Massú is living here too. He said that is was easier as all his team is Argentine and here he can find more practice partners, too.
