Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Lucho has done the right thing and maybe he could be back by the US Open, but he shouldn't rush back too soon.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Lucho will be making a comeback to the tour in New Haven.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Lucho should have won this match in 2 sets, but lost in 3 to Benneteau 7-6 2-6 6-1, and there seemed to be some problems with him, but as long as he is ready for the US Open that is what counts.

I'd like to see Lucho play Nadal in the 2nd round, but we'll see.

Gael Monfils FRA (27) vs.QUALIFIER
Max Mirnyi BLR vs. Wesley Moodie RSA
Luis Horna PER vs.Guillermo Garcia-Lopez ESP
Mark Philippoussis AUS vs. Rafael Nadal ESP (2)

Lucho was too good for GGL and hopefully he can serve out of his tree against Nadal and put up a good performance irrespective of the result.

I saw the match today and I was so impressed with Lucho! Even tho I'm a Rafa fan I was sorry Horna lost. I would have loved to see the upset. But a big for his great play today.

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Wow, there is someone here besides myself and Bratzo.

Lucho played as well as he could, but Nadal just had too much class for him in the end.

Lucho has to play Carlos Moya in the 1st round of Bucharest, there could have been easier 1st rounders for Lucho.

He is 26 and played an excellent match with Moya and it was the wrong result sadly.

Lucho wasn't lucky to lose two matches in a row to Mallorcan "pretty boys". Blahhh.

Re: Luis Horna's Power Room!!!!

Lucho was the top seed in the Szczecin Challenger and lost to Kubot in the 1st round in 3 sets, well at least he has Palermo next week to save his season.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
