Re: Thomaz Bellucci

He lost to Gasquet, but won mixed doubles with Jarka Gajdosova against Gilles and Alize. He's so awkward around her and they were laughing so much. They play again tomorrow against Peschke/Qureshi. Hopefully it will be streamed.

I really loved all the awkwardness, especially the cheek kissing at the end of the match. :rolls::rolls:
Nonetheless they looked so adorable together though. :hearts: Wonder how they ended up playing together.

Re: Thomaz Bellucci

I'll quote myself from last match.
Ballbasher & Ballbasher vs Pusher & Pusher (Of course, I didn't mean it in a bad way ;))
Probably Alize is one of very few female players that Thomaz knows a bit and she is on the other side of the net.
Alize's calves are thicker than Gillou's , Jarka's >> Thomaz' as well :rocker2:
Next round (QF) they'll meet Stubbs/Melo. Go Jarkomaz! :rocker:

Re: Thomaz Bellucci

:bounce: Thomaz begins his grass court season with a 3-6 7-6 6-2 win over Dimitrov. Good to see him come through with the win in a close match. Marsel Ilhan awaits him in the second round.

Thomaz wins another close one against Ilhan with a 6-2 6-7(3) 6-2 victory. Next up is Marin Cilic.

Re: Thomaz Bellucci

No luck this time around in the third set with Thomaz losing 6-7(3) 6-0 3-6 to Cilic. This rounds off his preparation for Wimbledon consisting all of one tournament.

Hi! :wavey:

This marks only Thomaz’s third ever tour quarterfinal on hardcourts. With his big serve, forehand and solid technique, it seems quite unbelievable that he has been unable to find any form off clay. But it’s all about movement and confidence, both of which he has lacked so much on hardcourts surfaces. However, it seems that Larri Passos has forced him to actually take the hard court season semi-seriously for once by ditching the useless claycourt 250s and training hard in the US ahead of the US Open series. And I have a funny feeling that it all may just pay off this Summer.
Not sure about the last part though :p totally agree with the rest and definitely I like this move! :D

Ivanatis, what?

To be honest I'm seriously worried because of what happened against Bogomolov.. But Haas/Gonzalez at their form should be OK...
Baghdatis is defending his final... should be interesting but I don't expect a QF even so I wouldn't say it is impossible.
