Olympics

I was wondering, does anyone know if we are sending one of our men to Athens too for tennis?
I have seen the lists of selected players, but I don't think there was any tennisser on it

It would be nice to have Ollie and/or Xavier going too. They might not win it, but they could do well...

Re: Olympics

I found the criteria list and it says the BOIC selects male tennissers ranked in the top 25 I think or they need to have reached 2 slam quarters or something like that. So I guess Olivier an Xavier just don't have accomplished what they need to to be selected.

Re: Olympics

StephB : It's not a list of tennisplayers, but just of all Belgian athletes that can be selected (so all sports)
If you're interested in that list, you can find it here : http://www.olympic.be/app/bot/bot.as...=Selecteerbaar

Re: Olympics

Now I found the A-B-C lists of athletes. Olieiver and Xavier or both on the C-list. That's a list of young athletes who have provern their talent with good results. So I hope they still have a chance to be selected based on this instead of the 'real criteria'.
It's a complicated selection system!

I hope both players may go and why don't play doubles
