Re: News Arnaud

Allez Arnaud!!!

It would be great to see him playing against Roger. I know I'm an optimist but in a tennis match anything can happen.

Nice idea Via! Though "allez" is a bit easier to pronounce than "Marseille"... and in this stream I'd choose "Saint-Petersbourg Sébastien" the easiest and the most pleasant thing to pronounce

As for the draw... well, he anyway has to play a seed player in the second round - if he reaches it - and there is not so huge difference between all those players. Though Federer is sure a special guy. But at least Arnaud shouldn't have any motivation problems... since he plays better against such guys like Nadal So I just hope he'll beat the qualifier whoever he is and it'll be interesting to have a look on Arnaud's scores against number one.

Also hope Michelle has in her plans a visit of Clement's match!

Re: News Arnaud

arnaud's opponent's spot has been filled... it will be peter luczak of oz.

this guy won't go away without a fight, so arnaud better be up for it!

mika has also qualified... fyi he'll get Lukas Dlouhy for first round, then Filippo Volandri (seeded with bye). now tell me arnaud's prospects aren't that much different from mika's!!!

just checked out federer v clement h2h at the atp website... arnaud last beat him at (that memorable tournament) aus open in 2001. that's a while ago... but the funny thing is, i've found that they have a very suave pic of roger whereas arnaud looks fat and lazy so visually, there's no match.

edit: the link http://www.atptennis.com/en/players/...r2=clement%2Ca if you wanna look them up

Re: News Arnaud

I saw a match of that Arnaud's rival from Australia in January, it was AO I guess. So yeah, not the easiest qualifier it was possible to get... lol And it's do funny to compare Roger's and Arnaud's pictures on ATP, you're right Via! But it's not so bad to have 3-5 h2h record... even though all the matches were ages ago... "1999 Marseille, Hard, Q - winner Clement" Yeah!!!!

And so I suppose we'll see Arnaud/Micka in doubles? They haven't played since DC, no? And it's fine to see Llodra in a singles main draw of a big tournament . Hope he's also going to show something good there.

Hopefully Arnaud can just be relaxed when (if) he plays Fed, noone will be expecting him to win, so if he can just go out and there and play, he can make the scoreline nice at least. allez Arnaud in ur 1st round.

Re: News Arnaud

"That's not very great to play him that's even very hard. The last three times
against him, I didn't got any break ball while I played good matches".

nono/federer match will be on after 3pm at centre court. let's hope that it will be a good match and not another easy straight set win for fed.
