The first tournament after DC, France, Nadal… yeah, it reminds me something
Anyway the draw is very interesting and, moreover, it’s on clay...
(WC) CLEMENT, Arnaud (FRA)/LLODRA, Michael (FRA) v. FERRER, David (ESP)/ROBREDO, Tommy (ESP)
Since when have they needed a WC to play doubles? Or the organizers have just had a redundancy of cards and decided to give one to two nice French guys?
"Those who are skilful and really the best ones don't have a bad luck [reasons of their falls are in themselves only]." - Ole Einar Bjørndalen, who is not just best of the best; he can do everything.
there aren't any other french pair in the draw... fabrice plays with zimonjic (sp?) who isn't french. anyway doubles are getting too confusing these days, i have no idea what their entry critieria are now.
i 'saw' the live scores too.... rafael was very successful with arnaud's second serves, possibly meaning that once they got into rallies then arnaud couldn't win so there's added pressure to get a good first serve in.
I can't believe what he said at tv after his match...he admited he started his match without thinking he could win, he just thought to play a good match ! So after he was frustrated because he wasn't confident enough.
