ehehehehe....Arnaud d. Melzer 6/2 7/5 !
He's in semi.
Melzer was up 4-1 in the second set
At least, he's not in NZ for nothing.
Frenchman Arnaud Clement followed up his upset win over No. 2 Ferrer by defeating sixth-seeded Austrian Jurgen Melzer 6-2, 7-5. World No. 67 Clement countered losing his own serve once by converting four of seven break points to prevail in 77 minutes and level his career series with Melzer at 2-2.
The 32-year-old Clement, who finished runner-up to Andre Agassi at the 2001 Australian Open, will face either 2008 Auckland champion Philipp Kohlschreiber or countryman Marc Gicquel in the semi-finals. He is bidding to reach his first ATP World Tour final since finishing runner-up to Ivo Karlovic in Nottingham (now the AEGON International in Eastbourne) in June 2007.
