I think like you Ome... He knows what to do

I think Paulo just need some practice and we will see if in Monte-Carlo he get is level higher...
I trust him and I know he will do everything to be prepared to come in roland Garros !
We just have to be there for him, he needs our support so let a message on his facebook official page so he knows we are behind him !

Time to win some matches, no?
Well it's not the worst draw - I always feel that Melzer is beatable. I guess judging by Paul's form and injury problems this year, though, that we should just hope for a pleasant surprise from him here.

Yes, I just hope for a pleasant surprise too. It's a shame my expectations are so low though as that is not a bad draw at all.

Good luck Paulo. We're all behind you.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

Re: Monte Carlo - Clay Court Season 2010

So his stay in Monte Carlo was cut short by losing to Melzer in straight sets.

Clay season is still long... and there's always grass! Maybe he's going to rock grass like he did a few years ago?

*still waiting for Paulo to win two consecutive matches in 2010*

Re: Monte Carlo - Clay Court Season 2010

I was there. I felt PHM was hampered on serve, but I also feel Juergen is a bad match up for him, he just draws him forward with stops or angles (and he is capable of that) and forces an error from PHM at the net. That's what happened.

Doesn't appear from this forum's activity that too many people are watching Paulo v Ljubicic. Win or lose his form towards the end of the second set has been really encouraging

Not much is working now. Sigh. Still, a few glimpses that he might be back to some sort of form with a few more matches under his belt.

Re: Monte Carlo - Clay Court Season 2010

Taking the fact that he's still in pain in to account (And that's not an excuse ), I thought last night was quite a good effort. It was so obvious that he's not too confident at the moment. I don't know if he should play Challengers now, getting that winning feeling. Because to be honest, it's not going to be easy on the Tour level without 100% fitness AND confidence. At least if he plays Challengers, he might be able to get one back...

PS. Is it just me or he really has been losing some muscle mass??? He looks skinner than I remember. His calf is almost as small as Gilles'

Re: Clay Court Season 2010

I saw the match last night and I think there are good things to keep. But I also think he should play some challengers to be more confident... I don't why he wants to play on the Tour because he's to weak to play against players from the top 20 even if we know he could beat them.
I don't know what to think about his behaviour, do you think he's fed up with playing? I don't think so, I think he really wants to win a match with great points and as he doesn't, his nerves get .....
Well, I just hope he won't suffer from this loss.. He's not quite away from coming back...
I'm so sad for him, he had this match on his side and couldn't ending it..
If someone has some news...
