In France, french players are very sourrounded yed, but with lucky, I will have a few moment with Paulo.. I have some cookies to give to him. It's cakes from alsace lol
I hope I will bring you a lot of pictures but I don't have a good camera so I will do my best !
If you can watch the match, listen very carefully, you may hear me shouting lol
Magic cookies from Alsace? That should be enough motivation for Paulo to win a match

If there's the live stream for this match, I will watch it for sure. I will focus on all the cheering voices then, guess a lot of French fans will all shout "ALLEZ PAULO", i need to recognize which is your voice.

Troicki got into the final in Bangkok this year, but was out in the 1st round of St. Petersburg last week. Paulo shall have a better chance if Troicki doesn't play stably in the match.

I will listen very carefully before his every serve then I always shout during the exchange and before some important points like bps and sfg, and i am sure he can hear that. ALLEZ Angélique, motivate him~~

Rassure-toi, his name is not in today's OOP, so he will not play on Sunday. Looking forward to your report from Paris.

Bien reçu Bon voyage, et passes une bonne jounée à Paris.

His match has been arranged as the 3rd one at the center court, so I guess I can watch it for sure. Hope the Alsace cookies can be given to Paulo before the match.

On t'en parlera à jeudi

Re: Autumn 2009 - Indoor/Outdoor

Poor Paulo, he must be way out of form now - he had a problem with the right calf, called for a trainer right before a tie-break and in the end decided to retire after just three games played in the second set.

The good thing is that Paulo can finally get some proper rest - guess that's what he needs the most after such a season.

Mathieu | Gasquet
Federer
Dimitrov | Ancic | Baghdatis | Eysseric | Herbert

Allez Les Bleus

Re: Autumn 2009 - Indoor/Outdoor

Honestly he played pretty well in the 1st set, definitely had some chance to break Troicki early and at leading 6-5, he got the SP. But Troicki was quite mentally strong at those moments and served well to keep it. The right calf must be a concern, he even wanted to ask for the medical call during the game. I just hope Paulo passed all his future bad luck in 2009, and will start a new season freshly, forget this year, have full rest, and enjoy the vacation.

Yeah, I thought he played quite well. I didn't see that coming at all. He was moving well prior to that

Can't wait for the start of 2010 He peaks early in the year

Separating from Courteau!

Re: Autumn 2009 - Indoor/Outdoor

I honestly am surprised...

that he sticks with Courteau until the end of the season

Time to hire me already, Paulo!

On a serious note, I have never liked the fact that he treats coaches like a tissue paper. Disposable. Changes can be good. But sometimes, it seems like an easy way out. It's like he's not taking responsibility for the results (And I know most people think that.)

I'd love for him to have a coach that can be tough on him. Someone who can push him more. That would be a nice change.

and you would be tough on him?

I am surprised, I saw a long practice session in Monte CArlo and I had the feeling that Courteau's laid back manner matched well with Paolo.

Of course

I think it's good for Paulo, but not for his career at this point.
