Re: The Zadig et Voltaire Appreciation Thread

Paulo took the first set 6-4! He had a lot of troubles on his serve throughout the set, but managed to hold. Keep it up, Paulo!

6-0... that was mean to Arnaud!

Well, he's concentrating on the business, I suppose Hope both guys had some fun out there
I fell asleep right before the match

I think, Paulo simply didn't want to lose the momentum. When the play is on one tries to finish it off asap. Well, Arnaud was leading 40-15 in the first game of the second set Dunno what actually happened then.
But the play in the first set was really intense The score was like 0-30, 15-30 almost on every Paulo's serve. I'm glad he pulled through and didn't let the momentum go. Even though it's just an exhibition event, I'm sure that those little moments will mean a lot for Paulo's confidence in the future.

How come they have no official livestream like in Bucharest?

Voted for Paulo, don't think he's going to make the next round though. I find it interesting that I like all the players left in (except for one) so I made a decision to just vote for Paul (and Richie).

As for Paulo's match, I hope he continues to smoke his opponents.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?
Allez Gasquet~Mathieu~Wawrinka~Mannarino~+++

Well, semis isn't bad at all... considering

I guess it was closer than the scores suggested then

Paulo never takes anything as an exhibition, imo I just hope he didn't take things too seriously when playing with the kids
