Like I say all the time, Andy plays better with harder draws.

Mark Lenders banged your girlfriend, I'm sorry to tell you that mate.

He's playing Mayer tomorrow, who's a good match up for Andy. I think he will be happy that Bellucci pulled out as that could have been a tough match for Andy to win.

Re: Andy in Madrid May 2013

That was the kind of match Andy usually loses on clay but he showed great mental strength to get through in straights and now should beat Simon even on clay!

Re: Andy in Madrid May 2013

Andy was the better player by mosts metrics in the first set against Berdych, but couldn't convert bps and now looks on his way out. Clay season is just torturous.

Never expected much anyway. But he is improving by each tournament so a little bit of hope for RG.

Re: Andy in Madrid May 2013

Andy really should've won that first set, shouldn't have even gone to a TB. Oh well. Quite a few aspects of his game were working well, the touch, variety, passing shots off both wings...just spurned too many BPs as his ROS was inconsistent.

Onward to Rome.

Andy Murray

Tsonga, Wawrinka, Zverev, Sock, Thiem, Muller, Kyrgios, Stepanek

Andy Everyone knows he barely retires during his playing games but today he did

That's so serious for him. Get well soon

Re: Andy in Madrid May 2013

Andy has withdrawn from Roland Garros to rehab the back.

Well this clay season pretty much sucked more than most of the others

In the long run, probably the right decision.
