He needs to find a way to get more gas in the tank. He is not coping with daytime conditions at the moment.

Indeed he was very sluggish out there. I wonder if the two days off had anything to do with it this time around? That was a first for him here.

He has said that because of the Olympics he didn't get to do his usual heat training in Miami post-Wimbledon.

So he's not as physically strong as he normally would be coming into this event and he's not conditioned for the hot humid conditions like he normally would be. This showed in R1 and it showed bigtime today when he got drained pretty quickly.

Oh I did see him say that so I missed that part. Makes sense.

Should've tried to sneak down to Miami for some practice. Or better yet enter the tournament in Atlanta. Same weather really.

And no, the fact that I live in Atlanta has nothing to do with me wanting him to come here. No way Jose.

Andy is on second on Ashe in the night session after ladies doubles - potentially 1.30am London time.

Re: 2012 - August - American Life

This Raonic guy is way too big for his boots so arrogant and overhyped. Just hope Andy plays his best, if he does Milos has no chance!

Go Andy!

Supposed to rain later tonight, hope it holds off long enough to get his match in.

I support a lot of mugs.

Re: 2012 - August - American Life

Murray 64 64 62.

He broke 4 times. He offered up 0 breaks, 0 break points.

64% first serves. He won 39% of the points on Milos's serve, and Milos served 70% first serve.

All in all, it was pretty bloody fabulous from Andy once he got his return eye in.

Cilic next

Re: 2012 - August - American Life

I think it he much easier for him to play at night. Raonic has never stuck me as arrogant at all. Are you sure you aren't confusing him with Tomic who used to be absolutely unbearable IMHO. But he really has toned it down since he has started to get defeated a lot. Defeats will take someone down a peg or two very nicely

He said Andy would have to adjust to his game, not the other way around... That sounds pretty arrogant.

Andy 3rd up on Ashe today in the day session after two matches waiting to complete - Sharapova-Bartoli and Roddick-Delpo.

I had never heard him say anything like that before Maybe his head is swelling as his ranking is rising! That is one thing I have always loved about Andy. He is the same person now as he was before he became one of the top players in tennis
