2 medals for Andy at the Olympics
I just found out about this yesterday! Actually I hope the effort in the mixed doubles won't hurt Andy's chances to win the Gold against Roger

Roof is currently closed at Wimbledon and it's raining - this is not good news for Andy.

Aaaand 2.5 hours later the roof is open and he is two sets up. What the hell.

I hope he can keep it together and close it out. I had this dream a few weeks ago where he won the first two sets of a 5-set final and then lost the third one 6-0 and when I woke up I thought "this will probably happen sometime."

edit: good, I do not have prophetic dreams

Re: 2012 - July - Olympic Dreams...

I am still freaking out, I am so utterly thrilled about this. Absolutely fantastic job

Also I was watching a stream of the BBC and it was kind of hilarious how blatantly they were rooting for Murray. But the best thing was a few points from the end he hit a good serve and the commentator said something like "maybe he just won't have to hit another groundstroke." And...he didn't.

Re: 2012 - July - Olympic Dreams...

Just wanted to come and say congrats to all Murray fans for his gold.

Clearly the best player throughout the tournament, so much so that he almost carried them to the mixed gold as well by himself.

Educating MTF clowns one post at a time.
So many fanboys to troll, so little time.

Favourite tennis matches: 2011 US Open Final & 2012 Australian Open Final, starring Novak Djokovic & Rafael Nadal, showing us just how far science can take humanity.

The US Open Final was especially enjoyable, with 'Why are there white spots all over my body?' Djokovic and 'Why am I sweating boils?' Nadal embarked on a titanic battle, concluding with the inferior player, Nadal, entering a sort of delirious state of psychosis. This allowed him to, while showing very little fatigue, consume inhuman amounts of energy, before he literally ran his legs from underneath him. This is truly the stuff dreams are made of.

Yes believe me I'm happy for Andy and Laura, but if the medals had to be of different colors I'm glad the gold came in Singles And the fact that he defeated Roger made it just all that much sweeter People had already awarded Roger the Gold before the Olympics had ever started and I'm just so glad Andy won that I don't know what to do! I wish we had a cartwheel turning Similie

P.S. to scoobs who I know either still plays or at least used to play TT. I started playing TT at the very last of June and today I won my first TT Singles Final This has been a great day all around for me--just picture perfect
