Re: 2012 - Andy's Mad March in Indian Wells & Miami...

Oh well - he could've done with more matches but he can't help that 6-1 7-6(4)

Re: 2012 - Andy's Mad March in Indian Wells & Miami...

I just feel so horrible about this. It be fine if Djokovic was playing really well, like he did in the first set against Ferrer, but he was pretty awful in the humidity. -19 winners to errors differential for Djoker, he wins with this scoreline?!? Murray just seemed rusty and have a bad game plan and mentality. I really hope it has more to do with the weird lack of match play, but I don't like the way things are going.

Re: 2012 - April, May, it's time for Clay

Andy looked in great form on the clay today in Monte Carlo, despatching Troicki with the greatest of ease 60 63

He and Jamie then teamed up to beat Gonzales and Kas 64 63.

Good start!

It's so dead in here at the moment

Andy got by Benneteau on a retirement when the Frenchman did his ankle at 6-5 in the first set.

He and Jamie lost in the doubles to the Bryans 75 64.

Now Andy is in a tough tussle with Berdych at the moment. 4-5 in the first set on serve

Berdych takes down Murray 67 62 63

In all honesty, it should have been straight sets - he had 4 set points in that first set.

Andy just lacking today - in confidence in his movement and in weight of shot. Berdych played extremely well except at the end of the first set.

Indeed. Luckily the clay season's long so he'll have time to build up his confidence on the dirt.

Re: 2012 - April, May, it's time for Clay

Andy won his first match in Barcelona today, taking out Stakhovsky 63 62

It was pretty routine and comfortable.

Andy's second win ever in Barcelona - and first since 2006...

Andy's up second on Pista Central tomorrow vs Giraldo.
