Re: Andy's 2011 Australian Summer

I fell asleep again during the second set and woke up right at the end
Sounds like he did great without me though I'll watch the match later on!

I'm not thanking the organisers for that scheduling.

2 am at the earliest. Lovely.

Re: Andy's 2011 Australian Summer

I'm going to try to sleep at about 8pm and then hopefully get in another couple of hours after the match. It's horrible when real life gets in the way of tennis!

Ditto - nap this evening and then a few more after the match if I can.

AO is always rough.

Melzer is a tough tough match.

Re: Andy's 2011 Australian Summer

The Big Yin in Andy's box

2 breaks of serve already!

Make that 3!!!

Despite Andy not having his serve, he takes the first 6-3. Come on!

Re: Andy's 2011 Australian Summer

That might have been a tough match, had Melzer been prepared to grit his teeth and fight but it's like Andy put him in a submission hold early and he just didn't want to fight out of it and let the referee count him out.

Awful from him.

Andy looked very good - but then - he has looked very good - but has had virtually no opposition.

If anything now I'm a bit worried that he's in the QFs a bit undercooked in terms of battle-hardness.

Dolgopolov may just provide that test next round.
