So nice to see Roger having to do the gracious loser speech in favour of Andy for a change

Well done Andy I'm so fucking happy right now! First title in 2010!

It's very great and important to see Andy can beat Federer in the final. Also great to beat Nadal and Nalbandian in the same tourney.
He has to improve his first serve percentage and drop shots but glad he played aggressive style and was quite good at crucial points.I'm impressed by his backhand the most. The first set is crucial,I thought it was over when he was broken back twice.Rain is annoying but as long as he wins,it's alright.

I always prefer attacker to pusher, and brand new Andy!

Re: Road to the US Open - Andy's US Hardcourt Season: 4th Seed in Toronto

Andy found a more effective balance between attack and defence this week, and it will be interesting to see if he maintains this through Cincy and the US Open.

i always thaught he attacked when he played rafa after wimbledon 2008 in every match after that, and he did attack in AO 2007 but wasn't ready. i felt he needed to attack against roger more because he was saying in interviews he would retrieve and id be like no fuck that andy attack. im happy he did this week and title so deserved and went to the right player

Re: Road to the US Open - Andy's US Hardcourt Season: 4th Seed in Toronto

He was quality last week.

He was just sublime against Nadal, possibly the best I have ever seen him play. He was a bit up and down against Federer, but rarely looked like losing.

Re: Road to the US Open - Andy's US Hardcourt Season: 4th Seed in Cincinnati

Congratulations Andy! What a superb week of tennis, great focus, impressive scalps - Nalbandian, Nadal and Federer. And thanks for giving me a beautiful birthday present in the final against Federer. I'm still grinning like a Cheshire cat.

Good luck in Cincinnati. Stay fit and motivated but don't take unecessary risks. Most important thing is to be primed for the big stage at US Open.
