First set 7-5.

Safe to say the last 15 minutes much better than the first 30.

Well he backed off on the aggression a little bit in the second set but by that time Hajek's early insouciance was broken at the end of the first set so he could afford to back off a little.

75 61 62

From about 4-4 in the first set, it really was pretty good from Andy, though let's keep in mind the calibre of opponent was a level or two below what's coming later on.

After getting his head out of his ass, Andy wins easily. Now if he can keep his head out of his ass then everything will be fine.

Nicely done, Andy. Keep going and keep those hiccups at bay.

Andy up at 1pm on CC in front of the queen.

Its quite funny that the anticipation of the Queen's arrival has somewhat been outshone by the Isner-Mahut epic.

Anyway good luck Andy. Please win in 3.

Well she's probably only going to be there for Murray's match only anyway. I heard she's not a tennis fan.

Either way, I just want him to focus on Jarko not the Queen.

Have you perfected your bow Andy? (Serena's gone giddy practising her curtsey, pity she's been shunted to Court 2). Once that's out of the way, forget about etiquette during the match, fight to win and be yourself.

She might still need it, I gather some players will be meeting the Queen before play starts.

The whole Queen shebang kicks off at 11am apparently so there will be plenty of opportunity for bowing and scraping! Come on!!! (And Allez Gilles! )
