Carlos Taberner

Well Kuhn has been getting all the hype, but this young gun deserves some attention too, has made BTB CH finals, is now in the top 200.

Re: Carlos Taberner

Yes! Seemed like Carlos was stagnating at the start of the year, but right now he's on a mission. Top 200 so far. He's scheduled to keep playing clay challengers in America. Not a lot of HC matches so far, seems like a clay player.

Still only 20 years old. The lauded generation of 97 has started to produce.

Taberner, Munar, Bernabe Zapata and Pedro Martinez have risen a lot this year. Hopefully they'll keep going!

Re: Carlos Taberner

Got a good win over Sousa today, up next is Heras, which on paper he should win.

Re: Carlos Taberner

Another semifinals for Carlos. Seems like he's really on fire. 3 straight semifinals on the Challenger circuit and up to the 180th on the rankings. Nice leap to end the year.

Probably gets to the top 100 next year.

Re: Carlos Taberner

He's playing the next two Challengers on South America starting next week and calling it a season.

Said in an interview that he's thrilled with his progress, and he's looking to forward to play AO Q.
