Nothing Mo was born and raised in Sweden. He just happens to live in Spain.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: ~*~Mohamed Lahyani Appreciation Society~*~

Hello fellow Mohamed fans - glad to see I'm not alone on Earth...

Don't usually pay much attention to chair umpires, but noticed him at the Marseille tourney this year, because 1) he looks like Patrick Swayze - yes, he does - and 2) he adds much fun to attending a tennis match.

He keeps an eye on everything, can't help making signs to ball kids and line judges... But the best thing is he always sounds like he's giving a pronunciation lesson (my personal fav line is any score finishing with "fifteen"), and how to explain this, manages to add suspense with his suave voice in appropriate moments

Honestly having much trouble concentrating on the match when he's umpiring, lol.

Can I too, be part of this "International Lahyani Fanclub", please? I'd be honored.

Hi Mel!!

Of course you can join us at the Appreciation Society!! Please do!

I know what you mean..... he has a way with the tone of his voice! hahaha! Even if the match and/or players are super boring...if Mo's on the chair, you hardly notice!

Consider yourself added to the list. I'm sure Patricia will take note, if she hasn't done that already

There can never be enough Mo fans out there.

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Hi ladies and gents! Layhani is umpiring in Moscow the DC tie Russia vs Chile this week. How many Russian words he has learned, wow! When he is announcing the scores you sure can't miss them, yeah, even when the match itself is not that interesting.
