I guess Juanqui went for a walk with long-time friend Roddick the day the pics were taken

Thanks Nacho. Very nice pics, especially the one of Alex and Tommy, and Moya's. You got nice source!

It's nice to see Carlos' burst of emotion. He's such a reserved, quiet guy usually. A bit like Juanqui. Not like Alex -- he's more outgoing and friendly. Robredo is quite serious.

I hope the Spanish guys do well in Madrid -- it's so important to them to win at home [en casa, as Juanqui says, or "in house"!].

Alex is sporting another new look -- he always has a new look -- wearing his striped practice shorts too! He's extremely popular in Spain -- moreso than Juanqui actually! Neat!

VAMOS, ALEX!!! Beat Kafel! [hope he's feeling better today -- he couldn't practise the other day]

Hehe, of course I am extremely happy that Roddick lost. Part of my wish for this tourney is that Roddick lost in the 1st match.

Well, too bad Alex is meeting JC. I thought they both could have gone deep, but not when they have to meet each other so early. I of course would root for JC, though I like Alex. But JC needs it more. Well, I guess you can also say that Alex needs it, theorically, he can still go to Shanghai by winning both remaining TMS.

When I heard on TV yesterday that there were 5 spanish finals this year. So I thought I'll list it here. It's easy for me to remember because 4 finals involve JC:

JC beat Moya @ Monte Carlos
Costa beat JC @ RG
Alex beat JC @ Kitzbuhel
Moya beat Ferrer @ Umag
JC beat Moya @ Hong Kong

And what happened to Tommy Robredo? Is Novak really that good? Should I worry about him facing Moya next?

And I watched a little bit of Lopez yesterday. I like his game. Hope he can take out Younes. He did lose the first set in that TB though. There's so many quality young players in Spain, like Lopez, Ferrer, Robredo... I mean, Spain really rules, in tennis. I just wish they do something here in Canada. Tennis doesn't really exist. Kids were all playing street hockey on those tennis courts... Okay, sorry, get a little too carry away.
