Re: Javier Martí

I guess serving for the place in the final just a few days after his first victory at CH was too much for Javi

Other than that, I have only positive things to say about this match. The last time I watched Javi play was last year at Buenos Aires Challenger, and I must say he improved A LOT, his game was at totally different level today. He served better, he moves well, and that backhand is a thing of beauty! He has the game, and this match was a valuable lesson for him, so I'm confident that he will have some good results in the upcoming weeks.

Semifinal is a great result but the final was in his hands... I think he's just so young and he needs such experience to improve his game and his mental strength.
I guess he looks much stronger now. Maybe his backhand will be like Almagro's

Yay! Looks like my wish is coming true! My wish was that he would become consistent on the Challenger level *no jinxing intended*

Re: Javier Martí

I found this picture last week, but didn't have time to post it. It's absolutely gorgeous, don't you think?

And short, but interesting article:

Quote:

The pic is p e r f e c t. Artistic.

Orange is the best choice for him, complementary blue background, and opposed accents of black. Kudos to designer.

Re: Javier Martí

Ricardo Hocevar defeated Marcos Daniel, so he is Javi's R2 opponent. They are playing today, second match on Center Court. Good luck Javi!
