Canas robbed

Place your bets and take a chance now!
Just make sure the Odds and the Gods are on your side!

Suppose it is not that case there is a God. Then time is infinite, and you are an empirically finite collection of chemicals. Since time is infinite and your youness is finite, then you have had infinite occurrence, and infinite variation. Since you have been infinitely varied, you would have attained the ability to forward, or compile, your memories. Yet it is not the case you have infinite regression of memory from time immemorial.
Hence, God exists.

Re: Canas robbed

ARGENTINE tennis player Guillermo Canas has been robbed outside his parents home in Buenos Aires.

The incident occurred in the the early hours of Tuesday, as he left the home in the Buenos Aires suburb of La Matanza.

Two armed attackers who reportedly did not recognise Canas threatened the player and took one racket he was carrying, along with his identity documents, credit cards, some cash and a chain he wore.

They fled in Canas' convertible.

Over the weekend, the tennis player had been part of the Argentine team that beat Russia in the semi-finals of the Davis Cup in Buenos Aires.

When he was attacked, Canas was leaving his parents' home after dinner.

Glad he's ok and didn't try any Chuck Norris moves.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Canas robbed

Old news.
It was all over the Internet last week.

However, it is not something which people should be making fun of.
Do you know how many of this robberies could end with killings?

Who is making fun of it? He did what you are supposed to do, when there is a robbery or a mugging.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

It was like, a super deluxe zillion dollar Mercedes convertible, supposedly only 3 of them in the country, and they found it soon after completely torched.

Actually a sensible thing to do if such cars were really that rare. Would be easy to trace back to the robbers if they actually decided to sell it to someone.

wat.

Re: Canas robbed

Maybe when they realized they'd stolen a car there are only 3 of in the whole country, they figured it would be hard to get rid of it, even in pieces. Or maybe they were afraid willy would send Maradona after them and just wanted to get rid of it toot sweet.

Re: Canas robbed

still, is stupid and Cañas should know better than hang around in that kind of cars in BA, if you are in La Recoleta or in Puerto Madero is ok, but going with that to LA MATANZA? is like having a neon sign saying: ROB ME, I'M AVAILABLE

Cañas must be really grateful nothing happened to him, it could have been way worse

I hope he remembered to call the bank to cut off the stolen credit card.

The BIGGEST (borderline delusional) fan of players on General Message Board according to Forehander:
Grigor Dimitrov: FedererBulgaria
Borna Coric: Crowdmaker
Nick Krygios: Dan.
Tommy Haas: Leng Jai
Sebastien Grosjean: Myself
Novak Djokovic: Chiico (Leader of the No1e Cult)

La Matanza isn't that bad, you are making out to be like the favelas in Rio or La Boca. Robberies and muggings can happen anywhere, if they want to do it, then they will do it.

Reason nothing happened, is that he gave them what they wanted as quickly as possible.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
