Wimbledon 2008

Willy has a tough draw for Wimbledon...

Haas in R1: Willy has a 4-1 H2H against him but they never played each other on grass before.

I have good hope he can beat Haas, but then it will probably be Robredo and he's not a good match up for Willy...

Re: Wimbledon 2008

Willy is playing with Martin Garcia and they are play Berlocq and Schwank in the 1st rd. Maybe he committed to Garcia before the tournament. Really wished he was playing with Del Porto.

Re: Wimbledon 2008

I also wished that he´d play with Del Potro - even if only for the Olympic Games. I think they´d have a good chance. I´ve seen Willy and Garcia playing in Hamburg last year and a friend has seen him more often - he´s not such a good player as Del Potro. Last year they definitely lost because of him. But among good friends the decision makes sense. Hopefully he plays good.

Re: Wimbledon 2008

Yes I agree that maybe with Delpo he'd have better results and I think they will team up again in the future.
But then again I also like it that friendship is important to him too and that hence he wants to give it a go with Garcia

Also I focus more on his individual career. Doubles are a bonus

I'm also glad to see Delpo back again too, after this bad back injury!

Re: Wimbledon 2008

Vamos Willy for the match. Please focus on your 1st serve percentage. Court 6 is not that bad of a court at least it is not No. 17.
