Re: Arriba Barcelona!!!

Some of these seedings seem a bit wrong to me. I didn't realise Karlovic was ranked higher than Willy. Would of been nice if he got the 8th seed a had a bye in the 1st round.

Re: Arriba Barcelona!!!

In his section of the draw, Robredo and Ferrer aren't exactly good matchups for him

Re: Arriba Barcelona!!!

Willy beat the King 6-1 6-4

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Arriba Barcelona!!!

After the match.

GUILLERMO CAÑAS

“Last year I was playing at a very high level, but this year I’ve had problems with my wrist and so my expectations are not as high.”

“I love this tournament, I feel very comfortable playing in Barcelona on clay and I would love to return to the final and play Rafa once again.”

“I feel good, I’m positive and want to fight, so I have to take advantage of that.”

Well, as long as the wrist is fine, it's ok with me no matter the result.

Last year he had a walkover on Kolya in the quarters and the 2008 draw isn't easy so if there is a way to the final it will be a difficult one, but as long as the positive attitude is there it is a good thing

Vamos Willy!

Re: Arriba Barcelona!!!

Congrats Willy. I'm happy he is not playing doubles so he can rest his wrist and not get over tired. Good luck for the 2nd round. At least he has a rest day on Tuesday. I like his positive attitude.

Re: Arriba Barcelona!!!

Well done Willy

Today will be a lot more difficult. Robredo isn't exactly a good match up for Willy and he has the home crowd.

Vamos Willy!!!
