you're right. I guess I'd better checked the printable draw immediately in stead of the one in sections on the US open homepage...

HE WON!
Watched it via the live stats, he never gave up, and kept fighting hard. This makes the open for me! Go Willy!

Re: US Open, lets start cheering :)

I expected a more easy win but well, most important is he won.
Couldn't watch (US Open matches are at "impossible" hours for me). I don't know if he was on a court with tv coverage (probably not ) because then I still could watch the match on demand on Eurosport.

Re: US Open, lets start cheering :)

As they wrote in La Nacion today, he had problems with soft corn on both feet, and he had to wait for the trainer for too long, so there were some arguments with umpair, and of cource all that mess didnt help him, but anyway he managed to recover in third set from 0-3 to 4-4, and then Ramirez already couldnt restore the advantage.
the next is Hyung-Taik Lee. Vamos Willy!!!

Re: US Open, lets start cheering :)

The SB is more then a game ahead on the livestream and this is really annoying
I'm watching it on screen but I already know how it will turn out and this sucks (but I can't keep myself from checking the SB....)
